Roulette is more of a “spectator sport”, unlike BlackJacks or Craps.

Are you ready to learn a table game, but not sure which one is right for you? Do you find yourself standing around the tables, watching the games, but you’re just not ready to commit to one?
Playing Roulette is easy enough. The object of the game is to pick the winning number that the ball will land on in the pocket of the Roulette wheel. Your choices of what to bet are:
Exact Number
Combinations of Numbers
Odd or Even Numbers
Choose the Color
Now all you do is watch closely and place your bets.
When betting in Roulette, you are required to “Buy-in”, which means you need to purchase a set of colored chips. Each player has a different color set. Usually, the casino has a minimum bet of $5.00 for the Roulette tables.
Is the table full with no available seats? No problem, just reach in between the players and place your bet. Even after the dealer spins the ball, you can still place your bet. When it’s time to stop betting the dealer will call out: “No More Bets”.
The Roulette wheel is the most vital component of the game. The current American version has 38 slots that are numbered from 0 – 38 including a single zero (0) and double zero (00). The double zero increases the house advantage.
When the dealer spins the wheel counterclockwise, the dealer will also spin the ball clockwise along the outer edge of the wheel. The ball spins around the wheel quickly a few times, then it starts to slow down, and finally drops to the center. Once the ball stops, it settles into a pocket. The number and color of that pocket is the winner.
